Why is 925 silver so popular?

Real silver, which has a higher purity than sterling silver, is generally more expensive. However, silver 925 is a popular alternative due to its relative affordability. Despite being less pure than real silver, silver 925 retains its beauty and lustrous appearance.

Why is silver good for jewelry?

Sterling silver is a harder material than gold and provides long-lasting durability to jewellery pieces. Most silver jewellery is combined with other metals, such as copper, zinc or tin, and has a coating of rhodium to inhibit tarnishing. The inclusion of stronger metals keeps silver resistant to scratching and wear.

Can silver get dark?

Long-term wear and your chemical body compound gradually dulls or darkens the silver's shine. Your silver will also tarnish sitting unloved on your dresser. In recent years, we have been noticing a rise in environmental issues causing your jewelry to turn a black, blue or an orange tarnished mess overnight.

Does real silver fade?

The answer is - Yes, it can. Sterling silver is made up of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent of other metals that form an alloy. Some of those other metals, primarily copper, can cause sterling silver to tarnish over time when they interact with moisture that's in the air.

Is it safe to clean silver jewellery?

Yes, You can do it yourself. You can use a mild silver cleaner to remove tranish and keep your jewelry shiny. Once you have rinsed the jewelry, then rub a soft chamois jeweler's cloth over the surfaces to polish and shine. Rub the cloth in a gentle, circular motion over the jewelry.

Can you wear silver everyday?

Genuine sterling silver is a fabulous metal to wear every day as it has many benefits. Sterling silver is gorgeous, versatile, affordable and extremely durable. If you look after your jewellery and make sure that you avoid contact with certain chemicals, your jewellery can be worn all day, every day with no issues!

Are there any tips for storing the jewellery?

it's recommended to store each jewelry item in its own plastic zip lock bag. The airtight packaging of the bags prevents the jewelry from getting tarnished.

Is there a need to re-polish the jewellery? If yes, how do we do it?

Plating / polishing may fade over a period of time and yes, you may need to polish/plate your jewellery again. For that, You need to contact your local jeweller. Your local jeweller can do it for you.

Are the jewellery pieces breakable?

jewelry pieces can vary in durability depanding on the meterials and craftsmanship.

What is the return policy?

We DO NOT accept Returns/Exchanges/Refunds. Because we want to give our customers the feeling of wearing a Brand New Jewellery Product. In case of damages incurred at the time of delivery, you will have to send us a picture of the said damage, along with order number within 24 hours of delivery time.

What is the shipping process?

Orders once placed will be usually processed within 1-3 business days (i.e. Monday – Friday). In cases where the item is shown as ‘Out of stock’ or ‘Available on backorder’ items shall take longer time and will depend on case to case basis and the seller doesn’t provide a confirmed time duration for its delivery.

Is there any exchange policy?

We DO NOT accept Returns/Exchanges/Refunds except in the circumstances listed below:
1. If the product is damaged.
2. Packages lost in transit.
3. In case Chhogada Jewellery discovers that a wrong item has been shipped to you then in such case, the seller will do a full refund of the order placed by you once the wrong item is received  back by the buyer.
4. In either case, the product delivered to you needs to be packed in the same manner in which it was received by you containing all the packaging material and information tags that were received along with the product with the jewellery tag attached.
5. Refunds will be made through the same payment method within 15 working days.

How to check the delivery status of an order?

You will be notified when your order is dispatched from our warehouse with the Order id.

Do you ship outside India?

As of now we are only accepting orders within India.

How much is the shipping charge?

Each order is liable to the payment of shipping fees irrespective of the amount of purchase made by the purchaser. Shipping fees includes handling fees, postage fees, packing fees and transport fees.

Can I cancel my order after it has been shipped?

Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled.

Once I’ve placed my order, how do I track?

How can I check my old orders and its payment status?

To track your most recent orders, simply click on My Account at the top of the page and go to My Orders in Dashboard.

What are the available modes of payment?

You can pay via all major VISA or MASTERCARD credit/debit cards, UPI, or Netbanking using our payment gateway at the time of checkout. Payment is accepted in INR (Indian National Rupee) at the time of purchase. Duties and taxes are not included in the price.
